In 1914 Basilio Gonzalez opened Gonzalez Studio on South El Paso Street. Where his son, Achilles Gonzalez, acquired many of his skills before opening Achilles Studio in 1938 on 105 E. San Antonio Street.
In 1970 we moved to our present location, 1330 Montana Avenue, formally Stout Feldman’s Studio. The studio was built by Fred Feldman, who was an accomplished photographer, around 1920. To this day the studio provides ideal natural light settings.
In 1974 after a distinguished career in photography, Achilles Gonzalez passed away. Since his passing his son and daughter run Achilles Studio Inc.
Our studio also provides services for Graduates, Weddings, Quinceañeras, Family, First Communion, as well as Copy and Restoration of customer photographs. Our generations of developing photographic skills coupled with computer technology sets us apart from our competition. Therefore your future treasured portraits can be planned with confidence at Achilles Studio a home based studio of distinction.
